Did Somebody Say.......Sleepless Nights?

Okay, so it was bound to start sooner or later. Last night was the first night I feel like I can say we were awake more than asleep. She was some cranky... I'm just glad it happened on a night that wasn't followed by a long day at work. I was able to lounge around most of the day today and recuperate. Jolie has, of course, slept pretty much the entire day too, which means we're probably in for another long night tonight. As restless as it was, we wouldn't change a minute of it. We love spending every waking moment with her, and if she keeps us awake... well then, that's just more time we get to spend together. Here's a few more pics for you guys to enjoy.

Maw Maw Sue's 2 Cents

It's been a wonderful week spending time in Texas with Heather, Jason, and of course baby Jolie. Jolie is my first grandchild and I'm so glad I was able to be here when she was born. I got to go into the nursery and watch her have her first bath which was a lot of fun. She is a beautiful baby and so far has been very good. It's going to be hard to leave her when its time to go home to Louisiana. Maybe they'll let me bring her home with me. Somehow I don't think that will happen!! Jason told me the only thing I'm bringing home with me is Bella (that's the dog for anyone who doesn't know). I love Bella but don't think I want her all the time because she is a hand full. I have a few more days here before we leave for home. We'll be spending Thanksgiving here and Jason, Heather, and Jolie will be coming to LA for Christmas so we won't have to long to wait to see Jolie again. I think I'll be making a lot more trips to San Antonio and using the web cam a lot!

Home Sweet Home

We brought our sweet girl home on thursday. She is a very laid back baby. We could not ask for more. She is eating very well and sleeps most of the day and night. Momma is also starting to feel much better. Her maw maw Susan and great granny and pa are here helping us with everything, which we are very greatful for! First Night

We made it through the first night! So far she's turning out to be a great baby! She barely cried the whole night. She fed for long periods every time she was supposed to. She stayed awake for a good part of the night, but for now she's just taking everything in without a fuss. Momma just woke her up to feed her again and she's not to happy about it. She's been asleep in momma's arms for the majority of the morning. She's definitely a pooper though......she's made mounds of mess already! Nothing like jumping right in to the whole diaper changing thing. I'll post more pics later today. Oh... and Jolie would like to send a shout out to Paran and Family for hooking her up with the monogrammed onesie in her debut pics! She's received a ton of compliments on the outfit... I knew you'd come through Paran!

Change of Plans!

Heather is still showing no signs of going into labor and the latest ultrasound revealed our "little" baby girl is going to weigh in at a whopping 9lbs or so. The Doctor thinks if we induced labor it would likely be a failed induction due to her size and the fact that Mommas not really showing any signs of moving into labor. So the new plan is a schedule C-section around noon on Tuesday November 17!

Still Waiting...

We're still waiting on baby Jolie to join us. She seems content in Mommy's belly for time being and doesn't show any signs of budging soon. So, we've decided to force her out! Momma will be induced on November 15 and will deliver on the 16th, unless of course she decides to come sooner on her own. We can't wait to take a ton of pictures and videos for all of you to see!
